Homemade cupcakesby SPJ!
The Society of Professional Journalists at Stony Brook University will be having cupcake sales for the rest of the week to raise money for the upcoming panel. Cupcakes, which are homemade, are $1 each, and can be found — and happily eaten — in the SAC lobby from around 2-4 p.m.
The Society of Professional Journalists at Stony Brook University is proud to announce its first panel of the year on Monday, September 24 at 7 p.m. in the Stony Brook University SAC Auditorium. The topic of the panel will be covering local areas, small communities and universities, and will feature three panelists, including Long Islander Editor-in-Chief Luann Dallojacono, NY1 Noticias Executive Editor Maritza Puello and journalism scholar/author Dan Reimold, who will be joining us from Florida. A discussion will be held on stage, moderated by SPJ President Alessandra Malito, and followed by a Q&A session opened to the audience. There will be a book signing by Mr. Reimold after the event for his book, “Sex and the University.” Please join us for our first-ever panel and a night of interesting tips, tricks and thoughts of covering local areas, small communities and universities!
